New senior trainer joins K9MD

We are super excited to introduce you to Sam Murdie. K9MD’s Senior Canine Trainer.

Sam has extensive canine scent detection experience.

Personally Sam has gained the title of Obedience Champion for one of her dogs, another dog was awarded the title of a Working Dog Trial Champion.

Professionally Sam has been a trainer and operational handler working dogs to detect explosives; drugs; invasive weeds and pests e.g. wallabies and rats.

Sam has also had an extensive career with FENZ as a professional Firefighter.

In Sam’s down time her hobby is tramping, having conquered Ol Doinyo Lengai (an active volcano) in Tanzania and Kilimanjaro.
