Please help K9MD develop an early test for cancer

K9 Medical Detection Charitable Trust needs to raise one million dollars each year to continue with our world leading research.

K9MD aims to create a simple non-invasive diagnostic urine test for the early detection of cancer. Currently (2024) we are training 8 medical detection dogs for the early detection of Bowel Cancer, Prostate Cancer and Ovarian Cancer.

Every week 23 New Zealanders will die from Bowel cancer

Every year 650 New Zealand men die from Prostate cancer

Every 48 hours one New Zealand woman will die from Ovarian cancer
