Clinical Research Nurse joins K9MD Clinical Team

Marcy currently works as a Clinical Research Nurse in the Gastroenterology Unit as part of Otago University. She transitioned to this role after working as a Primary Healthcare Nurse at a rural GP clinic in South Canterbury. During her years as a Practice Nurse, she focused on long-term chronic conditions and the impact these have on patients and their support networks. Marcy has spoken at a variety of conferences throughout New Zealand on this topic and is completing post-graduate studies to better support patients both acutely in the hospital and long-term in their own communities. 
 

Away from work, Marcy enjoys outdoor adventuring with her five children, Golden Labrador (Garth), King Charles cross (Holly) and more relaxed time at home with their three-legged cat (Trip).
